Time really flies... It had already been 1 1/2 years of my Jc life. Sometimes, I really wish that the pace of life would slow down a little. I just got to know a lot more people from band especially, and before I realise, I'm going to step down so soon. I am sure I am going to miss the band so much, especially my hornies, the trumpeters, the exco, and others like Joel, FuQuan, WeeJuay... etc... loads of them... Suddenly, at this very moment, I feel so attached to the band. I wish time will forever stop at this very moment. ShuJuan and I were talking about our memories of band earlier on in the evening, and yes, it certainly bring back a lot of very nice and splendid memories. When I join the MJCSB, it did not have anything. We all started from scratch and slowly build it up. I have no idea what makes me so determined to join the exco; but I made it in afterall. I started learning all I could, and together with ShuJuan and JieMin(when she was still here), we gain a lot from every band practice and get to know more and more about the role of a QM. I was never in a committee before. This is my first time trying out, and I have to start learning from zero knowledge of leadership. From nothing to knowing how to handle instruments, invoices, organising concerts, filings, and so many other precious experience. I also began to open up, and overcome my fear of talking in front of a big group of people. It has been a year since we last started out working in an exco. A year just past so fast, and in slightly more than a day's time, I'm going to step down. Gosh, how am I going to stand the silence in my life without band? Band seemed to have already taken over my life. I am so gonna miss all the people in the band. Yes, I really meant everybody.
Joie de Vivre is coming. I'm getting more and more excited over it. As much as I want Monday to come, I sort of dread it too. Monday is the concert day -- the band's big day. But Monday is also my last day in band if I'm not wrong. I'm sure the J2s will miss the J1s very much... Will the J1s miss our presence in band?
Really wanna thank Emma, ShuJuan, & WeiHao for guiding me all this while... I can't imagine my days without them. I don't deny that the exco do have disagreements at times, and there are quarrels too, but there are definitly so much more pleasent memories to think of. Gosh... I think I shall just stop here... If I continue on, I will just cry... There are already tears in my eyes... Well, can't really blame me for being emotional.. Gonna immerse myself in band stuff these day... Otherwise I'll never get another chance..........

Sigh.. Looks like my blog is getting 'stagnant' too. There is simply overwhelming number of things that happened these days (Monday to Thursday).
I miss this kid called Kavitha at the SCAS. Feel pretty attached to them after 6 weeks of volunteer work there. Kavitha wasn't there when I went there on Monday. She fell down at the therapy room and bumped her head. Teacher Joyce said that these kids will not cry that easily, unless it really hurts. Well, according to her, Kavitha was screaming in pain. Looks like it hurts a million. Gosh, I sure hope she is recovering well. Miss her smile, miss her kiss, miss her so much, miss her loads. I think this CIP had really got me so attached to the people at SCAS. I no longer have the common perception that they are very dependent. In fact, they are very independent. =) They are just no different from any ordinary kids. Just that some may be wheel chair bound. Hope to volunteer again there after my exams. Its a great way to spend my time. Meaningful and Fulfilling.
Monday at band, we play La Quintessenza for half the practice. I don't really like that song, and I was just wondering if putting Curtain's Up as the opening song would be better. It's my first time playing the third page of the song. I'm still sight reading it. Seriously, I really can't help it if I kept playing it wrongly, but I thought I didn't make really a lot of mistakes. Sigh... Guess that maybe its just Ms Sia who is pms-ing. Almost everyone got scolded.
Tuesday was a hectic day. We should have 3 free periods, but apparently, teachers are taking up all of them. I had math, chemistry, and econs respectively. Well, at least towards the end of the day, I had a whole load of fun! It simply got rid of all the stress I had for the day. Me and Jocelyn went to see the publicity comm do the banner. In the end, we helped out by cutting the papers and pasting them on the banner. Joel, JunYang, FuQuan, Eugene and WeiEe are a fun batch of people!! Haha... Lamest people too! Lol.. It had been so long since the last time I laughed so whole-heartedly. =) We were all crapping about what will happen if the words fell out, and $10 become $1. Whahaha... And also the way people pronounce Joie de Vivre. Haha... It's really comical! Went home with FuQuan at about 7+. Finally found another person who lives in Bedok. =) He also takes the train to Bedok. He is very lame! But he really added life to my journey home.
Went home with FuQuan on Wednesday too. So happie to not have a lonely trip home. To me, loads of people seems to be living at Hougang and SengKang, Pasir Ris & Tampines. There are a lot of people who lives in Bedok too, but I don't know them. sigh... so far there are only Rickson, FuQuan, and maybe somemore whom I couldn't think of. Well. they are the only 2 in band I think. Haha...
Jocelyn didn't go for band on Wednesday and Ms Sia seems to be really mad. *When is she not mad?* Sometimes I really feel bad for asking her to join the band. If not for me, I think she would had join some other CCA which she can enjoy. She is really putting in a lot of effort in coming for the practices. I've been in the same school 5 yrs already, and I practically seen all or almost all tricks and excuses for not going for CCA. It's really different now. She made an effort to go for band practices despite the heavy workload. Sometimes, I'm wondering if she got influenced by me. I just think that She and HuiWen are being treated very unfairly by Ms Sia. I have trust and faith in them. I really do believe that they can play. They are just afraid to play out in front of her. Is that a crime? Is that a serious problem? It is simply some psychology thing. It is all in the mind. Look at all the things Ms Sia had done to them? How can they not be afraid of playing out? I don't blame them at all. Just hope that the concert will be over soon, so that their sufferings will end soon too. All the best guys. =) Don't worry.. Just want to let you people know that I understand whatever you are going through if you happen to come across this blog entry.
I finally had my GP remedial today. =) Looking so forward to knowing how I fare for my recent essay. Looks like I did not do very well again. I was wondering when will I improve. Really want to thank Mr Kwek for his constant confidence in me. He kept telling me that I'm showing improvement, and that I should have more confidence in myself. How to have confidence? I'm trying to, but it seems so hard. GP seems so hard to fare. Today I had my Chinese Oral too. The passage was excellent as I only read 3 words wrongly. =) But the conversation is a killer for me. The question was "How would you go about introducing Singapore to a person who had never been to Singapore before?" Trust me, I crapped my way through. Haha... I had no choice. Hope it's not that bad. KahWoon is absent. He has high fever. Sure hope he is feeling better now.
Today we also got our band t shirt. =) It looks fantastic! I'm going to wear it for sectionals on Saturday. Haha... Tomorrow is Sports Day, and after that, me & Jocelyn are going to watch Van Helsing! How cool can that be? haha... I think we are going to scream throughout the whole movie. Heard that it is scary. Haha... I want to go and watch "50 First Dates" too. LuRong say it is very very very romantic!! And very very very nice!!! I want to watch! haha... It is ending le. Sure hope that I'll be able to catch it before it ends.
It's getting late, and I just realised I spent my whole night typing this entry. Err... It's a little long, because I very long never blog le. Hope you guys wouldn't find me too long winded.... Haha... good night.. Gonna go write my GP journal reflections le. =) sleep tite all...

Well, sometimes, I really think that I should start using proper English in my blog. Perhaps it may help me improve my GP, for one very simple reason - my GP is failing big time. Sometimes I really can't understand how people can do so well and be so eloquent in English. I seriously prefer Chinese to English, well, maybe except for writing in Chinese. Sorry Mr Kwek, for us being late for GP remedial on Friday. I understand that you are trying to help us improve our GP in all ways you can, and we are trying means and ways to not attend it. I guess you just got to understand our plight too. That afternoon, I swear I nearly burst into tears when I know you are mad at us. I didn't mean to disappoint you. Serious. Its just that our days are really so packed that we are suffocating in it! We're not going out for lunch anymore this coming Friday. Going to attend the GP remedial lesson. No choice I guess... Who ask me to be so weak in it? Tomorrow is going to be another long day, and I think I'm getting Monday blues again. How can my Monday be good when I have 2 periods of GP as 1st 2 periods and 2 periods of Chinese as my last 2 periods? Besides, I have 3 tutorials in the middle. Man, the day really sux. Lessons end at 5.45 tomorrow, and after that I have band till god knows what time. It's going to be a hectic day. Going to SCAS for voluntary service again tomorrow - the only thing I actually look forward to. I feel good to see Kavitha and Jun Boon smile. =) They are kids from the class I'm volunteering in. Sure hope the day will pass fast. Now I'm still struggling with my Chemistry tutorials. It is really not easy to do! Guess I had better finish it all before Mrs Lim come bugging me on why had I not done my work. Really hate teachers who do that. Now I'm starting to think... What time am I going to sleep tonight? 1am? 2am? Hmmm... ...

Sigh.. Time really pass very very fast... Before I know it, a week is coming to an end. This whole week (as usual), I came home at about 8+ or 9 +... Can't really do much.. Slept till the next morning and then its back to school again. Think I'm spending like 12 hrs in sch! Can't believe it... This is total madness...
The band concert is coming real soon too. I really wonder if anyone is gonna come and watch. I sure hope that it is a successful one. The new band committee is coming soon i think. Can't wait to know who got in. All the best to all ex-co wannabes.. =) Heard the brass quintet the other day too.. I think they sounded not bad.. hee.. The band is improving too.. Which is a good thing to look forward to. The concert is really coming.. and i wonder what it will be like on that night. heez... Anyone wanna go for the concert?? I'm really trying desperatly to sell it the tix...
Just had my Chinese mid-yr exam. To think that its a mid-yr exam and I'm treating it so lightly... Guess I sort of lost confidence in myself & in Chinese. Really wonder if I can get any grade better den a C. Now I start to regret retaking it. Now I hope that it'll not be so bad, hope everything will be over soon, so that i can at least breathe in some fresh air.
Homework are piling. I seriously wonder how I managed to finish all of them when I seldom do my hw at night le. Now look.. I did all the hw myself.. haha.. I already tried my best not to copy, cos I noe I'll not benefit from it. Got scolded my Mrs Lim (my chem teacher) though.. For not completing the tutorial to the qn she wanted us to. But I went home and did it all after dat. Didn't want her to have a bad impression of me. Really had an overdose of chemistry these days. So you can't really blame me for not doing her hw... As for math, things are going on quite well... Mrs Chong (my math teacher) is kind of patient with me. At least she didn't scold me or anything when I'm lagging for her tutorial. She asked me to do it during the tutorial period itself & cheered me on... I like it that way.. =) Now she make me feel like doing more math homework. That's the way to go... =)
So exhausted... Cant find any time to rest.. Any kind soul wanna go to the beach?? Really wish to relax a little... School life is soon gonna drive me mad if I'm not gonna do anything to change it... dunno wat to do now... maybe going on to some math.. or maybe sleep... or maybe... ... ...

--A very sad story... Very true indeed...
There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future doesn't seem too bright, they were very happy together.
Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualise any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then... Heartbroken, the guy agreed.
But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself. Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company ... You never fail until you stop trying.
One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walking to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn't take him long to realize they were his girl's parents. With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn't the same anymore, he had his own company, car, condo,
etc. He made it!
What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her... Her parents saw him. He asked them why had this happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle... therefore she had chosen to leave him.
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again...he can take some of those back with him...Once you have loved, you will always love. For what's in your mind may escape but what's in your heart will remain forever. The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can't have her, see her or be with her ever again.........
hope you understand. Find time to realize that there is one person who mean so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.
