i had my 1st birthday cake for my 20th birthday! =) it was a sweet pleasant surprise! love to all!!

the chalet was an enjoyable one. i had lots of fun there.. esp with the half cooking/bbq-ing because xia forgot the plug for the steamboat or smt. but we had fun! all the mahjong and card games... well.. we might as well set up a gambling den in there! hahahhaa... just that for the whole night, we played with chips.. not money... heh heh... didnt sleep a wink.. dragged myself to newton to recee ACS (barker) concert hall. den had an urge to go swim. but didnt go swim afterall. too tired to move man... my whole body feel so warm... re qi shang shen... so i rested at home.

tmr still have urgent meeting for band exco...

went to ccab the other day to get the syf tix with lynn. n we managed to get them! but i feel damn guilty cos charmiane they all didnt managed to get them. we're gonna all sneak in.. lets see how things goes... hope all of us can watch...

meanwhile, let me go rest this heavy head and heart of mine. when i'm in a clearer state, let me blog about affairs of the heart...

at a tiring week. went to work/slack at work at expo. met alot of nice ppl there, and of cos, the work is not too exhausting! hahaa... lots of thanx to adrianne, tio, yp, nui, nui's partner (is her name prani?) mr oh, mr erm.. i dunno how to spell it, and of cos, geraldine! this geraldine is of cos not the geri who worked with me... this new found friend of me n geri have the same name as geri! she's also known as geraldine lim man... hahahaa... so qiao... =) will miss them... the talk cok sessions we have when we're bored... oh man...

went straight to chalet after work on thurs... thurs, fri, sat, was fun fun fun all the way... had veri little sleep...

went back to sleep all the way on saturday... and then off to work again early in the morning on sunday! today's work was quite fun too... sean was veri funny... and i got to realise that the "prc-s" that i've been referring to at work are not prc! they are not from china! oh man... poor thing... he told me alot of ppl thought we was from china... even his accent sound like china man... and not to mention his looks... action... aiyo....

now at my bro's house to watch soccer! hahaa... england! all the way!!

hahaha... yea.. caught the match at indochine earlier just now.. had a drink with jocelyn, while avril sat n ate fries, and jill had her half shot appledini (which tasted just like apple juice without alcohol!) hahaa... ok ok.. shall stop teasing jill porkie and her alcohol limits... me and joce had a bottle of stella artois each. and we stole 3 coasters.. hahaha... oops!

the argentina match is cool man... so many goal la! then everybody so excited... lol.. we were saying we wanna see argentina make history... and wanna see a 5 - 0... den when they socred the 5th goal, we wanted a 6 - 0. hahaha... and they score!!!!! too bad no more time for a 7 - 0.. hahaa... or else it'll really be history man... lol... it's total trashing!

well anyway... just now i met up with the old gang to eat at din tai fung... nice meal.. played a series of games to finish off the 2 last pork dumpling that jill porkie ordered... haha... den i tio 1 dumpling... bahhh... haha.. and den we had another sissors paper stone game with kahwoon.. and he won 4 eclairs!!! 1 from me, 1 from jill, and 2 from zhusiling.. lol.. lynn won an eclair form kw though.. lol.. so we had an eclair feast outside taka... beard papa's eclair is niceeee!!! *yummy*

from tmr till august, my holidays are pretty much taken up already... foc stuff coming up... band concert getting closer... chalets and work... and school experience...

feli gave birth!!!

there're now 4 more member to the feli family.. she gave birth to 4 tiny little kittens! oh man... cuteness... they are cute because they are tiny n new born... look like hamster... haha... but... their face took after their dad (oh man... their dad is ugly... a mix of grey, dark orange, and black fur). den their body had the fur of feli (all black). they look like baby tiger from the front view... haha...

cleaned up my room today... it's halfway to completion... tmr shall be part 2 of this big mission to clean my room... judging from how i juggle between staying at home and in hall on alternate nights, i tend to dump the things on the floor and leave in a hurry... that resulted in a huge mess... avril thought our room was being broke into... haha... bought a new skirt yesterday with meihui they all.. now i finally have a proper knee length skirt to wear for my school experience!! haha... well.. 1 is never enough.. gonna invest in more soon... oh.. i bought a bag too.. it's the one i've always wanted.. the super popular one that can be seen carried around everywhere... yupp... it's big n handy... haha.. who cares if it's common...

tmr going for my xiao long bao feast... zhusiling promised she'll pei me go drinking... hope we have time for that... =)

jus watched the england vs trinidad & tobago match... so gan chiong sia... last 10 min den scored 2 goal.. thought it's a nil - nil game liao.. haha.. at least england won..

went to tanjong pagar early in the morning for some work briefing... and i got to meet zhusiling for lunch! got alot of things to tell her sia... and she also got alot of things to tell me... wah... i wanna go to the beach!!!

went steamboat with yina, pris, charmiane, and huishan.. it's fun.. but veri full.. haha... n pris house veri nice!!! took alot of photos there too...

tmr still got dim sum buffet with baoling they all... cant wait... haha..

work had been fun so far... in jus 2 days of work, i witness an indian wedding, and a malay wedding. serving ppl had always been pleasant, though i dun deny there're always unreasonable customer and guests around... i used to work in sushi tei.. which is considered in the f&b line.. now i'm back in the f&b line.. in banquet in singapore swimming club...

i've learnt ---

1. how to fold lotus. it's something folded for cloth napkin. haha.. quite cool.. it's the first thing i learnt on the first day of work...
2. how to fold hats. another thing folded from cloth napkin
3. that indian wedding have alot of dance and happening indian music.
4. whisky soda is not dark brown. dark brown means coke was added. (cos i served the wrong drink.. haha..)
5. that malay wedding have alot of chants and "speech" by various ppl.
6. how to place a napkin on ppl's lap. (i did it the wrong way the first time i did it! den sean shook his head.. hahaha)
7. how to open the folded hat napkin without struggling... (i had a hard time the 1st few time i tried to open and place it on the guest's lap)

not bad la.. i really enjoyed the work..at least it's not super boring.. u get to interact with the different ppl... some guests can be really nice.. on my first day of work, there's this indian man who said to me "thank you miss! u'r the best miss in the world!" haha.. that really made my day... i'm still inexperienced an all... and someone said that.. =) another lady said "it's ok darling.. no problem" when i forgot to bring her drink.. haha... during yesterday's function, sean passed me a hersheys choc while i was clearing a table.. hahaa... so funny.. i didnt dare to eat.. den i told him i got no pocket.. cannot keep.. den he say "eat now la!" hahahaa... so i ate it on the spot.. lol.. not facing the guests of cos... btw sean is our supervisor.. also jinyuan's best friend.. haha... so cool.. he's nice... all the rest of the ppl working there are also veri nice... haha.. so glad... get to meet nice ppl like willie and jonathan, pingting and sean.. not to mention alot others who are veri nice also... i sure dun mind working there long term part time.. haha...





suddenly thinking about some things in the past... there're some things i know i'll not forget... it'll stay in my mind... always... not because i choose to remember, but because it chooses not to leave my mind...

flu n headache this time round.

felt so horrible after meeting last night... but i managed to pia finish altering my skirt the following morning. bought the skirt on thurs afternoon and friday i have to wear it to work for banquet.. smart me...

yesterday morning was an eventful morning man.. had badminton and volleyball with the nie ppl.. namely khai (the super funny one who made everyone laugh till we roll on the floor), baoling, fengxia, shiangxin, xinda, alester, and jo jo. super fun session man... we should have more of this, den i can have the chance to exercise my limbs.. hahaha...

so wat happened today? i could only say i had indian music overdose! went to work at banquet for the first time... and it had to be an indian function. but anyway, the guests there are really nice and polite... nice day at work.. though my hands and legs are aching badly right now... wondering which is worse... this? or sushi tei paragon? i have to say that it's comparable to each other.. except that working 7 hrs at banquet is equivalent to working full shift at sushi tei paragon on a saturday! hahaha...

so wat am i expecting for tmr's work?

yea. results are out. i didnt do well... but at least i cleared all my modules this sem. the thought of having to retake calculus kills me. still, i have to accept the fact that i failed it the last time round.

been working in sentosa as parade marshall for the past four days in the past week. met lots of nice ppl.. like steven and mr tan. they send us home, treat us to dinner... so nice lah! working for 4 days made me 200 bucks richer... but it's hard work.. stood under the sun and having to walk for alomst 10 km everyday can kill your legs... really.. but den, in return, i get to know more ppl, more conductors, more involve in the band scene, more cute sec school kids... haha... i like band la.. i tink it has become part of my life.. though i'm sure i would not dedicate all of it to band... i'm now considering joining NIE band... but i know i wouldn't have the time.. besides, i want my fri night to be free... to be a night out.. a night of fun and joy... not for band... see how things goes ba... thx guys... u made my sentosa working experience an awesome one... ppl namely --- priscilla, emma, yina, cherish, steven, mr tan, christopher, jason, charmiane, huishan, alfri, asmidah, wingyan, joel. not to mention those nice conductors from unity sec and kranji sec. and to all the sec sch i was in charge of --- damai sec, kranji sec, dunman sec, gan eng seng sec, unity sec, and yuan ching sec. cheers guys! i love u guys! and not to forget our dearest ms sia!! if not for her, we wouldnt have gotten this lobang... =)

now wondering if i should work in banquet... this coming fri, sat, and sun, there's some function thingy... i wanna work... but my dad dun wan me to work till late hours... dilema... i cant work anywhere else... everywhere else have cpf... sigh...

and MOE better restore my pay... cut pay cut so fast... restore they better make it fast too...

well... went to xia's house jus now for some card games... checked all our results at her house too.. haha.. had such a huge commotion there... everybody so kan chiong... esp me.. so scared i da bao again... thx guys for always being there... next sem lets chiong together again! missed the steamboat meal with u all cos i gotta rush home for dinner... my dad cooked tonight... he reminded me that i havent been home for a meal during weekdays for more then a yr le... i felt guilty.. so decided to go home to eat instead... anyway.. had lots of fun there... that's enuf liao.. ;)

i fell asleep right away after i reached home. super tired. must be due to the exercise in the morning. but at least i did some exercise... after a long time... haha... badminton and swimming were shiok man.. right baoling? haha.. we had this mini fiasco at the swimming pool... which took us half an hour.. lol.. first, baoling forgot to leave her specs in the locker. so she put on top of the locker. but we didnt know there's a hole thingy in the middle.. so her specs fell in.. we sua ku sua ku carried the long white chair beside the pool over to the locker to find her specs.. hahahhaa... so paiseh.. we cannot stop laughing.. =P

and then we got into the pool, and i forgot my goggles.. so we got up to get it.. and brilliant! we cant open it. so after trying for veri long, we decided to go get help at the counter in front. the person asked us to get life guards instead. so we decided to try one last time and FINALLY managed to open it. haha...

finally had our swim too.

long long day today n tmr... it's work at sentosa again. i cant find any other job... all restaurants and retail outlet have cpf... sigh... jill had already gotten the job at bodyshop.. while i'm still in search of one...

at this rate i'm going, i won't need to work anymore... no more time left...
